Anti-bribery Policy

 

PROVLINX PLT is committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner and is committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure all forms of bribery, corruption, and fraud are prevented. PROVLINX PLT has zero tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships we build with our employees. PROVLINX PLT will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption and adhere to the PROVLINX values and policy in combating any form hereof.

 

Application of Policy

This policy applies to all employees, managers, and owners of PROVLINX PLT, including temporary or contract employees. Employees must ensure that they do not become involved in any way in the payment or receiving of bribes. This policy sets out the minimum standards to which all employees of PROVLINX PLT must adhere at all times.

 

Definitions

Bribery can be described as: giving or receiving anything to or from any person (usually money, a gift, loan, reward, favour, commission or entertainment), as an improper inducement or reward for obtaining business, employment or any other benefit. Bribes can therefore include, but are not limited to:

  • gifts and excessive or inappropriate entertainment, hospitality, travel and accommodation expenses;
  • payments, whether by employees or business partners; and
  • other 'favours' provided to supervisors, such as making unwanted advances, payments or promises.

 

Company Commitment

All employees of PROVLINX PLT must adhere to the company ethos of anti-bribery and corruption. No employee or manager will be allowed to take part or become involved in any form of bribery, corrupt behaviour, or fraud, including the following:

  • Offer, pay, give, or receive anything of value to or from any person through which one will unethically gain something in return which is not provided for in terms of their employment contract.
  • Attempt to mislead or induce any person to do something illegal or which goes against the company policy.
  • Mislead or intentionally lie to any person to gain an advantage above and beyond their employment agreement.
  • Violate any rules by shifting blame or responsibility onto another employee/person.
  • Fraudulent practices against the company ethos or legislation.

PROVLINX PLT is committed to remove and combat any inappropriate behaviour immediately and will not tolerate such behaviour from employees or managers, in any way or form. This policy hereby binds the company to its commitment to regularly discuss and mitigate factors related to any form of bribery, corruption, or fraudulent behaviour. PROVLINX PLT encourages all its employees, business partners and customers to report any real and/or suspected bribery or corruption.

PROVLINX PLT expects all third parties dealing with PROVLINX PLT to share our commitment to zero tolerance against corruption.

Health and Safety Policy Statement

 

PROVLINX PLT is committed to provide safe and healthy working environment for the prevention of work related injuries and ill health. Health and Safety are our responsibility. Our focus is on prevention, with health and safety being integrated into all of our activities in order to create a safe working environment. We will continually take steps to eliminate risks that could endanger any person in our work environment. In pursuit of this, we are committed to the following:

1. Prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health;
2. Provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
3. Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
4. Ensure safe handling and use of products and substances;
5. Provide personal protective equipment and ensure they are always used appropriately in workplace, factory and site visits;
6. Provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
7. Ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
8. Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
9. Maintain safe and healthy working conditions;
10. Carry out risk assessments, take action and review risk assessments when working procedures and conditions change;
11. Record and report all incidents and accidents to management and where required to authorities;
12. Implement emergency procedure, including evacuation in case of fire or other significant incident; and
13. Review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

This policy shall be made available to all those working for, on behalf of PROVLINX PLT, service providers performing work for PROVLINX PLT and any interested parties from outside the Company.
